Our programs have helped more than 3000 families every year. The counseling, parent education and therapy we provide makes all the difference in healing families so that they become happy and productive members of our community. Yes, it’s our community. We need to take care of it, nurture it and contribute.

The Bernard E. & Alba Witkin Charitable Foundation in Berkeley supports non-profit programs that help children in the East Bay. The Witkin Foundation has funded COPE Family Support since 2021 because their five main programs strengthen the relationships of parents and guardians with their children: Triple P Parenting, Counseling Options, Youth Services, Anger Management, and Supporting Father Involvement.
We see the success of these programs every year in COPE’s annual impact report. We also know that the intervention of strong programs provided by non-profits like COPE Family Support leads to better outcomes for children and families with children. That is why the Witkin Foundation supports COPE Family Support in their work within our East Bay community.
We applaud the commitment of COPE Family Support to increase access to mental health and wellness support services for youth and their families in Antioch and East Contra Costa. We are particularly pleased to support your Across Ages: Intergenerational Mentoring for Youth program, which provides much needed social-emotional development, academic engagement, and positive mentor relationships, with trained volunteer mentors, to help young people thrive.
